Application and principle of stainless steel decanter centrifuge

Nov 15, 2018

Stainless steel decanter centrifuges are widely used in chemical, petroleum, mineral processing, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection, water treatment and other industries. The machine adopts humanized design and has the advantages of simple operation and easy cleaning. In the process of separating the materials, the machine has high filtration precision and high working efficiency.

In practical applications, the stainless steel decanter centrifuge is not only resistant to high pressure, corrosion, but also easy to maintain. This series of centrifuges has no filter holes on the drum wall, and no filter cloth is required for operation. It is suitable for liquid-liquid separation, which is suitable for solid phase particles, high viscosity, low concentration, and difficult to regenerate the filter medium when the separation or clarification liquid does not meet the requirements.

Structure and principle of stainless steel decanter centrifuge: Under the driving of the motor, the drum rotates at high speed. When the material enters the inside of the non-porous drum and the light and heavy phase begins to stratify under the action of centrifugal force, the heavy phase closely adheres to the drum wall and is light. The phase forms an inner liquid ring which can be turned over the liquid intercepting plate to overflow the rotating drum. The liquid can also be used to take out the rotating drum during operation, and the solid phase is manually removed from the rotating drum after the shutdown.
