Application characteristics and separation requirements of drilling mud decanter centrifuge
The drilling mud decanter centrifuge is mainly for the characteristics of oil drilling fluid. The special equipment for solid-liquid separation designed during operation can complete the feeding, centrifugal sedimentation and unloading at full speed to a certain extent. The process is mainly used to recover barite, remove fine solids, reduce the solid content of drilling fluid, control the density and viscosity of drilling fluid, ensure the performance of drilling fluid and play an important role in rapid drilling.
Working principle of drilling mud decanter centrifuge
The drilling mud sedimentation centrifuge separates the drilling suspension by the principle of centrifugal sedimentation. In operation, the suspension is carried by the feeding pipe through the liquid outlet hole of the screw ejector into the rotating drum, and the solid phase is under the action of centrifugal force. The particles are pushed toward the inner wall of the drum, pushed through the blades on the auger to the small end of the drum, and the liquid phase overflows through the overflow hole at the big end of the drum. This cycle continues to achieve continuous separation.
Drilling mud decanter centrifuges are important solid control devices in drilling platforms. It separates the solid phase larger than 2μm, effectively solving the problem that the cyclone device cannot separate the ultrafine and harmful solid phase. The centrifuge can quickly restore the specific gravity and other properties of the drilling fluid, providing a reliable guarantee for efficient and scientific drilling. It is mainly divided into drilling fluid medium speed centrifuge and drilling fluid high speed centrifuge.
