What are the calibration methods for horizontal screw decanter centrifuges?
The structure of the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge mainly includes components such as a frame, a hood, a main bearing, a drum, a screw, a differential, a drive system, a control system, and a safety protection system. When the machine is running, the rotating drum and the screw rotate at the same speed and at the same speed. The material enters the spiral inner cylinder through the feeding pipe and enters the drum from the feeding port.
At the same time, the material in the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge can be under the action of centrifugal force, the heavier solid phase material deposits on the drum wall to form the sediment layer, and the spiral will continuously push the deposited solid material to the rotation. Drum cone end, through the slag outlet discharge machine; and lighter liquid material to form the inner liquid ring, from the large overflow end of the drum overflow drum, discharge machine outside the discharge port.
And before each device is used, it is necessary to calibrate it. There are two specific methods, one is the fine-tuning search method calibration. The sensor is mounted on a micro-displacement mechanism with its sensitive axis along the radius of the drum. Before the rotation of the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge, the drum rotates at rpm, and the sensor moves along the sensitive axis by means of the micro-displacement mechanism until its output is approximately equal to zero. The drum is stopped and the micro-displacement mechanism is locked and positioned.
At this time, the vertical axis of the rotating shaft of the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge is the center of mass of the sensor. Therefore, the radius of the rotation center of the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge to the center of the sensor can be measured accurately and calibrated to a certain accuracy.
There is also a method of calibrating a horizontal screw decanter centrifuge by a position rotation method. This method is relatively simple, and the calibration sensor is directly calibrated twice on a horizontal screw decanter centrifuge. For each calibration, the sensor is mounted in the same position on the turntable or the boom, except that its sensitive axis is rotated 180 degrees in the radial direction. In the two calibrations, the sensor is mounted on the mounting point of the table in the same position.
To determine the center of mass of the sensor, use the same place in the horizontal screw decanter centrifuge to constantly modify and adjust the mounting position of the sensor so that the output voltage of the two calibrations is equal, then the mounting position of the sensor is the center of mass.
