The screw decanter centrifuge is a new type of horizontal screw discharge centrifuge. The working principle is to use the solid-liquid specific gravity difference and rely on the centrifugal force field to expand it several thousand times. The solid phase is in the centrifugal force. The lower part is settled to achieve solid-liquid separation, and the body is separately discharged under the action of a special mechanism. When the centrifugal filter is easy to block the filter medium and the filtration resistance is too large or the fine particles are lost too much, the filter centrifuge can not achieve the ideal separation effect. At this time, the decanter centrifuge has the advantage that the filtration type is incomparable. Using the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, solid phase particles with a small particle size can be separated from the liquid phase.


A centrifugal separator that separates the components of the suspension by a high speed decanter centrifuge. The suspension added to the drum forms an annular liquid layer under the action of centrifugal force, and the solid particles therein settle on the drum wall to form a sediment. The clarified liquid is discharged through a drum overflow or a pipette, and is referred to as a separating liquid. At the end of the separation, the sediment is discharged manually or mechanically. During the process of sedimentation to the drum wall, the solid particles also move axially with the liquid flow. When the feed amount is too large, the liquid flows to the overflow port, and the fine particles that have not settled to the drum wall are discharged with the separation liquid. Rotate the drum to make the separation liquid turbid.


High-speed decanter centrifuges should choose a sedimentation centrifuge with high separation factor for the difficult-to-separate suspension with small solid-liquid phase density difference, small solid particles or high liquid viscosity, and prolong the time that the suspension stays in the drum (for example, reduce the The amount of material or the use of long drums, etc., can ensure that the separation liquid is clarified.
